Competition Rules and Guidelines

The competition is announced in three categories:

• Amateur Pianist Category - Open to all ages

• Junior Pianist Category - Born in or after 2007

• Senior Pianist Category - Born in or after 2002

• Professional Pianist Category - Born in or after 1985

• The competition is an online performance.

• The Jury has the right to determine the number of prizes and the amount of money awarded to the winners, within the allocated amount.

• According to the regulations of the National Fryderyk Chopin Institute in Warsaw, the scores will be public after the jury and the administrators completed their works and will be posted on the sachopinpiano.com website when possible.

• The Jury is international. The decisions are definitive and non-debatable.

• In justified cases, the organizers have the right to make decisions, which are unchallengeable and unchangeable.

• For the four categories a YouTube recording is sent along with the application documents.

• According to the committee’s decision, the winners will be informed no later than 1 December 2021.

The required information:​

• Copy of the identification card or passport (name, citizenship, date of birth).

• Short professional biography.

• Copy of bank recipes about the transfer with paying for the extra bank charges.

• Electronic photo or two paper-based photos.

General:

 

• Incomplete or wrongly filled documents will be ignored and not be refundable. 

• Application for the competition signifies irrevocable acceptance of the rules.

• The participant accepts that all photos, video, radio and television recordings taken during all the events of the competition are owned by Open Call Industries Pty Ltd, for taking and using them no fees are required. 

• Additional expenses related to the competition shall be borne by the participant.
